Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers is designed for physicians, dentists, physician assistants, nurses, respiratory therapists, EMS personnel, and allied health providers who require a card documenting successful completion of a CPR course with written and practical examinations. This course is generally required as a pre-requisite for nursing, EMT, and allied health students, as well as those interested in becoming CPR instructors.
An e-learning option is also available for both initial and renewal students. This involves completion of an online module with a follow-up practical session scheduled in our training center.
Heartsaver AED and Heartsaver First Aid are designed to teach CPR, AED, and first aid skills for home, work, or recreation to community members with no prior medical training. These classes are appropriate for workplace first aid providers, coaches, personal trainers, hotel/restaurant staff, elderly caregivers, day care centers, and security officers.

CPR for Family and Friends offers community members the opportunity to learn basic CPR in a comfortable group environment. No testing is required and no course completion card is issued.
CPR for Family and Friends is a popular way for parents and family members to learn CPR and first aid for choking for adults, children, and infants. McCabe can schedule this two-hour program at your location as part of a workplace wellness program, neighborhood/condo association activity, PTA program, or other community group meeting.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support is a two-day class (one day for renewal) for advanced-level healthcare providers, such as paramedics, physicians, physician assistants, nurses, or respiratory therapists. ACLS teaches management of cardiac arrest, acute coronary syndromes, stroke, bradycardias, tachycardias, and respiratory arrest through hands-on learning stations with simulated clinical scenarios.
The course emphasizes integration of basic life support with advanced interventions, and effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation. A course completion card is issued following successful completion of written and skills evaluations.

PALS teaches management of life-threatening pediatric emergencies, such as respiratory failure, shock, and cardiac arrest through hands-on learning stations with simulated clinical scenarios.
